What you'll need
  • Any AI chat tool
  • Your dates, budget, and who's coming or eating
  1. Give it the basics

“Plan a relaxed 3-day trip to San Diego for two people in their 70s, in March, about $600 not counting the hotel.” Or: “Plan 5 easy dinners for two, under 30 minutes, no shellfish.”

  2. Say what matters to you

Walking limits, diets and allergies, kids, early nights, favorite foods. The more it knows, the better the plan.

  3. Ask for the format you want

“Make it a day-by-day list,” or “Add a combined shopping list grouped by store aisle.”

  4. Check the facts yourself

AI can get opening hours, prices, distances and closures wrong or out of date. Confirm on the official website or by phone before you go, and check ingredients yourself for allergies.

⚠️ AI can be wrong. Check names, numbers, dates and prices yourself before you rely on them. See why AI makes things up.
  5. Book and pay on the real site

Use the airline's, hotel's or attraction's own website or app. Don't type card numbers into an AI chat.

🎉 All done!
